About Polymath Play
We are parents, educators, game enthusiasts, and creators of Fossil Canyon, a family game developed in collaboration with the Field Museum of Chicago.
We have three main priorities:
Family fun and bonding through game play that is enjoyable for both kids and adults. It doesn’t matter how educational a game is if you don’t play it!
Creativity and learning. Play creatively! Learn something!
Supporting broad access to educational opportunities. We are proud to partner with the Field Museum in advancing its educational mission.
Fossil Canyon is inspired by our kids’ (and our own!) fascination with dinosaurs, and developed with Akiko Shinya, the chief preparator of fossil vertebrates at the Field Museum. We hope you enjoy it!
